Commack Fire Department

This past Saturday, firefighters responded to an overturned vehicle and then a mutual aid to Dix Hills for a working house fire. Crews returned to service shortly after 2am.

Just after midnight on Sunday, May 24th, Commack firefighters responded to the corner of Jericho Turnpike and Elwood Road for a vehicle fire that was threatening a gas station. Members quickly extinguished the auto, preventing fire extension.
Several hours later, Truck Company 1 and Engine Company 3 operated at a house fire in Brentwood.

Thursday morning, Commack firefighters made quick work of a trash compactor fire in the Mayfair Shopping Center.
