"Opening up about mental health isn't easy — it can feel like a weight you're carrying alone. But remember, you're not alone. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. It's okay to not have it all figured out, and it's okay to talk to someone when you need support. 💙 For more resources look below.

Grateful to have gotten to speak with the Native American and Indigenous Peoples Cohort this past week during their Wellness Night! We got to engage in meaningful conversations surrounding su***de and mental health matters specific to Native communities, and ways we can work together to support su***de prevention efforts within the Native student community at Ohio State.

Thanks NAIPC for all you do, and for allowing us into your space to have such important conversations!

REACH Trainer Spotlight! We want to take a moment to recognize the incredible work our REACH trainers do in fostering a campus culture of care.

Meet Matt Waitkus, who has been a REACH trainer for 9 years! He emphasizes that "every interaction matters; sometimes, the smallest act of kindness can mean the world to someone."

When asked about the most valuable aspect of REACH, Matt shared, "Su***de is a challenging topic to discuss. I truly appreciate that REACH equips OSU faculty, staff, and students with the tools to connect individuals in need with resources that can save lives."

Matt, Thank you for all of your dedicated work to our program!
