When you look at a metcon on paper and you cherry 🍒 pick it out of your week of training because you think that it looks to “simple” or “easy” or “boring” you should pause and reconsider if you’re missing the point…if it looks incredibly simple that is because simple does not mean easy it means uncomplicated. And uncomplicated means you don’t have to think as hard about technique so that you can push yourself that much harder and faster into brutally challenging anaerobic threshold training zone where you’re in the pain cave for the entire 2-10 minutes of suffering. Make sure you’re hitting all your different energy systems in your training!
