Couldn't resist snapping some pictures in this vintage beauty salon chair at my last wedding. Too cute!

One of the highlights for me in every wedding I shoot are the meaningful items that the bride and groom bring to be a part of their big day. Flat lays create a unique ability to tell stories. These particular photos capture cherished heirlooms spanning generations. From the pearls worn by the bride’s grandmother at her graduation to the monogram from her grandfather, and the rose handkerchief from her remarkable great grandmother, who is currently 104, to her late sister’s ring, gifted by the bride’s mother upon her engagement. Each item speaks volumes, encapsulating a profound history. It’s a privilege to document such depth and richness in a single frame.
