JOB OPPORTUNITY
- Immediate need for 1 deep tissue and 1 light work (lymphatic, prenatal/postpartum) - female therapist preferred
- Flexible schedule, preferably part-time
- All supplies provided (linens, creams, oils, tools, etc.)
- Small close-knit team with good energy, focused on client well-being
- At least 90% of our clients see us for pain and dysfunction, many referrals come from other medical practitioners
- We will provide training/mentoring on integrative therapies, including Ayurvedic bodywork, prenatal/postpartum and neuromuscular therapy
- Pay is 50% of service intake, independent contractor status (i.e., 1099) - also option for voluntary admin work at an hourly rate

Company Description:
The Massage “M.D.” - Body, Mind & Soul, LLC is a wellness spa located inside a former ranch style home, just off of E Broad St at:
18 S. Belmar Dr, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068

Dedicated to providing various, quality massage therapy, mind/body and other wellness services to clients in the Spa and the surrounding community. We have 3 treatment rooms, a gathering area, large bathroom, a kitchen to provide nourishing snacks, and a small classroom to accommodate multiple guests at a time.
● Intimate spa parties, meetings or trainings are welcome!

Role Description:
This contract role (weekly or monthly rent) requires a professional, licensed Massage Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients. Responsibilities include performing a range of massage techniques, which can include assisting clients in stress management, pain relief, injury recovery, relaxation and general wellness.

Therapist are to maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment. This is a hybrid position based in Reynoldsburg, OH, with the flexibility to complete some tasks remotely, to perform chair massages at local business and events.

Qualifications:
● Current massage therapy certification or licensure valid for practice in Ohio.
● Specialized skills in therapeutic massage techniques. ( swedish, hot stones, tai, sports )
● Knowledge of stress management practices and the ability to tailor services to individual client needs.
● Strong customer service skills to ensure an excellent experience for clients.
● Ability to maintain professionalism and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and client confidentiality.
Previous experience in a therapeutic or wellness environment is a plus.
Holding any mind/body certifications would be a bonus (yoga, mat pilates, tai chi)
