Columbus Soap Box Derby Association

The Columbus Soap Box Derby Championships are this Saturday June 6th. Come to Big Run Park and cheer on these 32 drivers competing in three divisions for the opportunity to represent Columbus in the World Championships this July in Akron.

Racing begins around 10am. Our theme this year is "Big Dreams Build Champions". A Columbus tradition since 1934. 🏁

We dodged the rain yesterday at COSI - Center of Science and Industry community event. We had ~25 kids and adults that experienced the thrill of the hill.

We had a great lesson when kid raced dad...weight advantage versus aerodynamic advantage. Who prevailed at the starting line? Who prevailed at the finish line?
