Forsythia formed in the spring of 2025. The band consists of Lucina Jankowski on Guitar and vocals, Mona Watson on Drums, and Calla Wilkinson on Bass and back up vocals. They describe their sound as melodic emo, and draw inspiration from sasscore, folk music, classic rock, and other alternative genres. In April, they put out their debut album “Forsythia”, consisting of ten original songs, partially produced by Luci or “risastudios”
