We are now enrolling: The Community Doula Academy!

Have you ever felt called to support families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum? Now is your opportunity to turn that passion into purpose.

The Community Doula Academy is officially accepting applications for our next cohort beginning July 20th!

Our training is designed to prepare compassionate individuals to become knowledgeable, culturally responsive community doulas who can make a lasting impact in their communities.

Program Highlights:

✔️ Comprehensive doula education
✔️ Trauma-informed and culturally responsive training
✔️ Birth, postpartum, advocacy, and professional development
✔️ Ongoing mentorship and support

As a Community Doula, you'll provide advocacy, emotional, physical, and informational support to families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period—helping ensure every parent feels seen, heard, and empowered.

We're looking for someone who:
• Is passionate about maternal and infant health
• Values advocacy, education, and culturally responsive care
• Communicates professionally and works well with families and community partners
• Is committed to serving diverse populations with compassion and respect

💙 Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads! 💙

Today, we celebrate the fathers who show up every day for the families they helped create. The dads who change diapers, rock babies to sleep, attend appointments, support their partners, and love their children wholeheartedly. Your presence matters, your involvement matters, and your families are stronger because of you.

As a doula, I have the privilege of supporting not only moms and babies, but dads too. Fatherhood is a journey, and I love helping fathers feel included, confident, and empowered as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period alongside their partners. Dads deserve support and encouragement just as much.

One of my favorite things to witness through Centering is the relationships that are formed. These amazing fathers started off as complete strangers, but by the end of the program, they became a true brotherhood. They encouraged one another, shared experiences, celebrated milestones together, and even started their own group chat—just like the moms did! 🫶🏾

It’s a beautiful reminder that fatherhood was never meant to be done alone. Community matters, and these dads have built something special that will continue long after the babies are grown.

Happy Father’s Day to the fathers, bonus dads, grandfathers, and father figures who love, lead, and show up every single day. We see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you today and always. 👑💙
