On behalf of OHacksIO, I present a unique hackathon organized and run completely by high school students! From their outreach coordinator: OHacksIO is a non-profit organization whose main goal is to actively encourage and enable students around the world to enjoy, participate, and excel in innovative thinking through a competition style format. In order to achieve this goal, they are planning on hosting a global online hackathon from September 4th-6th. This hackathon is a coding competition in which students will be given a theme and a set time period to create an app, website or game. There are limitless possibilities as to what students can create, as long as they're within bounds of the theme. OHacksIO will be the first global hackathon that will be run by high-schoolers in Ohio.

UC Women in STEM Camp Survey 02/24/2021

University of Cincinnati student, Abby Boerwinkle, is starting a project to get girls interested in stem majors by exposing them to different workshops showcasing different stem fields. Before she makes her proposal she has to collect some data to back up her claim of need. If you can, please share her survey with some of your female students so she can get as much data as possible.
