I appreciate my friends for being supportive and believing in me and my work. My friend had a very strong idea of what she wanted, so I gave her some drafts, and the final result was this. I drew everything from scratch,  and this is a very detailed and specific illustration. This was a handmade illustration with markers and color pencils. Ajolote en acuarela *** Watercolor Axolotl The Axolotl really exists. Thr Axolotl it is unusual among amphibians in that it reaches adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis. Instead of taking to the land, adults remain aquatic and gilled. The species was originally found in several lakes underlying what is now Mexico City, such as Lake Xochimilco and Lake Chalco.[1] These lakes were drained by Spanish settlers after the conquest of the Aztec Empire, leading to the destruction of much of the axolotl's natural habitat. *** Practicando acuarela 🎨
