Seniors Real Estate Institute Certifies Four New Coaches

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, April 19, 2021 -- Seniors Real Estate Institute (SREI) announced today the certification of four new senior downsizing coaches. Lisa Treadwell of Indianapolis, Indiana, Regina Hill of Columbus, Ohio, Shannon Stiger of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Belinda Olson of Kansas City, Missouri, all Certified Senior Housing Professionals, have earned the advanced credential of Certified Senior Downsizing Coach®.

Topics included in the Institute’s advanced curriculum involve strategies for assisting clients with researching appropriate housing options, reducing ambivalence about relocation, managing feelings of overwhelm, effectively communicating expectations, collaborating with adult children and trusted advisors, and utilization of SREI’s exclusive Downsizing Made Easy Method® for simplifying late-life relocations.

“Real estate agents are often called upon by downsizing homeowners for help with making decisions about late-life housing and relocation options,” says Nikki Buckelew, PhD and SREI Founder. “Typical real estate agents are ill-equipped in this area, but after taking Downsizing Coach Skills Training they are better able to serve a more mature market segment.”
