Check out one of the candles we got in from Coby Michael-The Poisoner's Apothecary! 🕯️🖤✨

The witches' sabbat is the nocturnal congregation of all manner of spirits and magical practitioners. It is here that we meet our brothers and sisters in arte, and the spirits that inform our work. To travel to the sabbat is to travel to the otherworld, and over the centuries numerous methods of doing just that have arisen. Plants are one of the means by which magical practitioners alter consciousness to enter into this liminal place.

This candle is infused with the very same herbs used in the medieval witches' flying ointment, as well as other herbs associated with the Sabbat. 🌿 Burn during spirit flight and hedgeriding to serve as a guide there and back, as well as to stand sentry over your body while you are away.

Deadly nightshade: Atropa belladonna: a baneful and saturnian herb with a long history of association with witchcraft and the Devil. One of the main ingredients in medieval flying ointment.
Centaury: Centaurea erythraea was said to make all who compass about it believe themselves to be witches. It is also an important herb for plant workers.
Mullein: Verbascum thapsis when used as a "witch's taper," it is dipped in wax and burned. at the boundary as a luminary for our rites. It is also used to communicate with spirits.
Vervain: Verbena hastata is another herb associated with sorcery and spirit work, commonly it is called sorcerer's violet.
Myrrh: Commiphora myrrha which adds a dark and lunar energy to the blend, once used in ancient funerary and embalming rituals.
Poplar buds: Populus alba, A tree of the underworld, sacred to Hekate. Poplar protects us while we journey.

🌟 Coming up THIS FRIDAY! 🌟 Intro to Qigong & Nervous System Regulation, on Friday June 5th!!

The heaviest thing we carry isn't our workload. It’s our armor.

Most of us are walking around in a state of permanent bracing. The jaw is tight, the breath is trapped high in the chest, and the nervous system is locked into a low-grade hum of survival mode. We think this tension keeps us secure, but eventually, it suffocates our creative intuition, our focus, and our energy.

What is Qigong? At its core, Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese practice of structural and energetic maintenance. It combines slow, deliberate movement, regulated breathing, and focused intention. While often described as a moving meditation, in practical terms, it is a physical protocol for clearing deep tension, optimizing your body's internal circuitry, and bringing an over-clocked nervous system back to baseline. It is the physical practice of learning how to put the shield down.

Join Rachel Schutt, metal sculptor and Qigong Practitioner, for an exclusive introductory class designed to help you physically clear the static. We will create the internal safety required to take the armor off, drop the energy out of your head, and let the system finally breathe.

What to expect:
⟡ The Mechanics of Qi: An introduction to the energetic architecture of the body.
⟡ Grounding Protocols: Physical movements and breathwork to aggressively shorten your stress-recovery time.
⟡The Lower Dantian: Techniques to move trapped, anxious energy out of the chest and anchor it deep in your center.

No prior experience necessary for this class!
