It was 4 years ago today that we experienced the “Great Campus Blackout”, which is normally just what we call “Saturday”. All those years ago all of campus lost power, except 1 bar, TBDBarITL, and although we made another memory that lasted a lifetime with yall that night, it wasn’t about just the crowd, it was about what happened after we closed. Knowing that all the houses lost power, and it was hot as hell, The Bar of the People became a sanctuary for our staff, as we hosted the first Library Sleepover 🤣. It ain’t the Ritz, but when you’re a part of this staff, you are a part of our incredibly dysfunctional family, and we would do anything for our people, because they do everything for this bar. Cheers to those brave souls that added another page to the largest history book on campus that night 🫡
