Turfgrass Pathology Program

Disease Update! First confirmed case of active summer patch, Nematodes are starting to really cause turf decline and poa triv is checking out hard core! Stay on the phosphites and do everything you can culturally to make the turf healthy and happy!!

August has arrived with a very loud BANG! 1st samples of gray leaf spot and Pythium have landed. Make sure your ryegrass and young turf is protected. Good news, it looks like we are getting ready to cool off a little and shed some of these warm humid nights!

Heads up! We have a new pathogen joining the party. Anthranose has finally showed up! First case diagnostic lab this year, just in time for Aug. Make sure your covered for this one!
