A tragic accident occurred this morning at Sayenor Junction, Calaba Town, in the eastern part of Freetown. According to reports, a truck crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a motorbike carrying a young woman. Sadly, both the rider and the female passenger lost their lives instantly.

The truck also crashed into and destroyed a high voltage EDSA electricity pole near the road. Police officers are currently at the scene managing the situation and restoring calm.
