We know you love your protective styles
It is important you get Regular Hair Trims for Healthy Hair. Trimming your hair between protective styles is essential to prevent split ends from traveling up the hair shaft, which causes breakage, weakens hair, and negates length retention.
Regular, small trims (every 8-10 weeks) remove damaged, dry ends, ensuring that the hair remains healthy, fuller, and capable of growing properly underneath braids, twists, or weaves.
Trims
-Prevents Breakage Progression
-Ensures Healthy Growth
-Maximizes Length Retention
-Combats Dryness
-Improves Style Maintenance
I recommend allowing your hair to “breathe” for one to two weeks between protective styles to reduce tension on your scalp and allow for a thorough wash, deep condition, and trim.
And remember Braid styles look different on every client because hair isn’t “one-size-fits-all.” Even if two people ask for the exact same style, their unique hair and head characteristics will change the final result.
