If you are enthusiastic about PTA, committed to the welfare and education of children, highly motivated, and looking for a new challenge, then Ohio PTA is the right place for you!

The Ohio PTA Nominating Committee will be meeting in October to fill the slate for
the 2027-2029 Board of Directors. Elections will be held during our Ohio PTA
Convention in Spring 2027 in Columbus, OH. According to the Ohio PTA bylaws,
ALL Board positions are open for consideration with the exception of President, President-Elect, Secretary-Treasurer, VP of Leadership, and VP of Field Service which must be filled by those directors with prior service on the Ohio PTA Board of Directors,
Submit a completed Letter of Interest Application to serve on the Ohio PTA Board of Directors form to [email protected] Forms will be accepted until October 1st, 2026.

Last week members of local, council, and the state board of directions of Ohio PTA headed to Da 'Burgh for National PTA's Annual Convention- the first in person convention in 4 years! We had a great time and learn so much. We met leaders from across the states and congresses, traded pins, and participated in the business of the association.

Our convention shirts were a hit because did you even check your bylaws, bro?

Shout out to our President Elect Barb Varley who served on the Convention Committee for National PTA. They did an amazing job and we were so happy to be together again!
