Aestas String Quartet

What a night! We had an unforgettable chamber concert on 4/9 at Legacy Hall. During the 2-hour-long-chamber music marathon, we played Schubert String Quintet D.956, Franck Quintet in F Minor, and two uplifting pop music arranged by our violinist . 🎵

It is a privilege to feature two Schwob faculty members, Prof. Wendy Warner and Dr. Esther Park, in our culmination concert. We are grateful for their 100% support and commitment to the concert and our program. ❤️

As the Schwob quartet’s first quartet in residence, we are proud to culminate the program with nothing but gratitude. We hope you enjoy the clips and the many more to come! 🌟

What a fantastic experience it was to join the faculty in celebrating ‘REXFEST’, with a full concert program honoring L. Rexford Whiddon and his late wife Lynn K. Whiddon’s limitless contributions to the arts!

Without their heartfelt and passionate efforts to advance the arts in Columbus, so much of the musical culture and opportunities young artists enjoy in this town today would not have flourished in the way that they have.

Thank you for all that you do, and happy 80th birthday to Rex Whiddon!

It was our pleasure to be invited to present two hours of movie music (and Mozart!) for the 2024 BOR Scholarship & Award Gala, organized by the USG Foundation!

We had a wonderful time performing, connecting with leaders from across the state, and exploring student-created film sets that were made possible from the generous funds raised in the previous year’s Gala.
