Now that Lando has all his puppy shots done and the weather is actually nice we’ve finally introduced him to the back half of our yard. When we bought this house the yard was the major selling point for me. It’s so peaceful with a beautiful little creek, a bridge over the water, lots of trees, and space to run. Lando has very much enjoyed exploring all these new sights and smells, although he is too scared to get his feet wet in the creek just yet. Anyway please enjoy these pics of my tiny explorer.

Petunia recently had her big photoshoot as 1 of the 3 new faces of ’s new beer cans. She did such a great job! Be sure to stop by the beer release party on March 5 from 5-9pm and pick up a 6 pack or two. Not only are you supporting a local business, but a portion of each can sold will be donated to ! So you can sip guilt free knowing you’re supporting a good cause.

Today is a tough day—It would have been Brisket’s 5th birthday. I would give anything to have him here with us. The last 4 months without him have felt like torture. Every year on his birthday I did a special photoshoot to celebrate. There is no photoshoot this year. Only an aching heart imagining what could have been. 💔

Terminal diagnoses don’t come with rain checks. So when the weather included 100% chance of rain and frigid temps on the day of Koda's session, we adapted. We did indoor studio and lifestyle photos, followed by a few quiet moments outside when the rain paused long enough to get a few snaps in my back yard. Having the flexibility to do both indoor and outshoot shots, especially for End of Life sessions, means we never have to reschedule for bad weather (and we are extra grateful that we didn't have to reschedule as Koda passed shortly after our time together). This home set-up is new for me, and I’m deeply grateful my new house has given me the opportunity to offer it as a location option for my clients. Now my End of Life folks have a guaranteed beautiful, private location for their session and we can shoot rain or shine.
