Over the past two days, we’ve had the opportunity to connect, strengthen relationships, and learn alongside advocates from across Ohio.

Thank you for creating a space that inspires, recharges, and fills our cups so we can return to our communities feeling renewed and ready to continue this important work.

Day 1 at the OAESV Conference is in the books!!!

We kicked things off by exploring the self-care room, checking out all the fun goodies in our conference tote bags, and, most importantly, connecting with fellow advocates from across Ohio.

It’s always inspiring to come together, share ideas, learn from one another, and continue strengthening our collective commitment to supporting survivors.

We can’t wait to see what Day 2 has in store!

Join us tomorrow for our upcoming COSAEA meeting on Wednesday, June 17, from 1:00–2:30 p.m. as we welcome Debra Shade, ABS, a Board-Certified Clinical Sexologist, Somatic Sexologist, and founder of Shades Oasis.

Through her innovative and evidence-informed approach, Debra brings a unique perspective on sexual health, trauma recovery, and healing that is both practical and deeply transformative.

Known for blending compassion, humor, and candor, she creates engaging conversations that encourage professionals to think differently about supporting survivors and fostering

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this afternoon’s CoSART meeting, both in person and virtually.

With 42 attendees, it was great to see so many professionals come together to learn from one another, ask thoughtful questions, share updates about their programs, and strengthen connections across our community.

These conversations and collaborations help us continue working toward better support and services for survivors, and we appreciate each of you for being part of it.

If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community this is your chance to get involved.

Our Volunteer Advocate Training helps participants learn how to support survivors through trauma informed advocacy crisis response and compassionate care and now we are offering 32 CEUs for those who participate.

Whether you are looking to grow personally professionally or simply want to make a difference we would love to have you join us this June.
