Please take a moment to read each flyer carefully for important dates, times, and required information.

📣 Columbus High School Families — It's Almost Time! 💜💛

The countdown to an amazing school year has begun, and we can't wait to welcome our Falcons back to campus!

Be sure to join us for your Grade Level Orientation and our Open House to get prepared for a successful 2026–2027 school year.

📅 Grade Level Orientations (All begin at 5:30 PM)
🎓 Seniors – Thursday, July 16
🔰 Freshmen – Monday, July 20
📚 Sophomores & Juniors – Tuesday, July 21

🏫 Open House
📅 Wednesday, July 22
🕑 2:00–4:00 PM

During these events, you'll:
✅ Receive important grade-level information
✅ Meet administrators, counselors, and teachers
✅ Learn about expectations and opportunities for the year
✅ Get your questions answered before the first day of school

All Parents and students are strongly encouraged to attend! Together, we'll make this our best year yet.

New and withdrawing students can come in today or tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to complete registration and avoid the lines expected next week.

Registration for the 2026–2027 school year has officially begun! Please review the registration dates for Columbus High School and make sure you bring all required proof documents when you come.

🥎 Welcome to the Falcon Family, Coach Babbitt! We're excited to have you as our new softball coach and can't wait for a great season ahead. 💜💛🦅

CMSD would like to introduce Coach Kadajah Babbitt. She is a native of Shannon, Mississippi, and a former collegiate softball player. After playing throughout her high school career, she earned a softball scholarship to attend Coahoma Community College, where she played for two years. She later earned her bachelor's degree from Mississippi Valley State University and a master's degree in Sports Science from Jackson State University.
Coach Babbitt previously spent three years coaching softball at West Point High School before being named Head Softball Coach at Columbus High School. She is honored and humbled to lead the program and is committed to helping student-athletes become confident, disciplined, and successful young women both on and off the field. Her goal is to build a culture of excellence, accountability, and personal growth while developing strong competitors and leaders.

We are proud to celebrate Mackenzie Lowery on being selected to play in the Northeast Mississippi Basketball Coaches Association (NEMBCA) All-Star Game!

This outstanding achievement is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and talent on the court. Mackenzie has represented the Falcons with pride, and we are excited to see her showcase her skills alongside some of the best players in the region.
