Spring 2025 Commissioning!

Congratulations to the Army’s newest Second Lieutenants! We would like to thank all the friends and family who attended and watched, as well as our guest speaker CPT (Ret.) Grant Douglass, OSU Army ROTC Class of 1984.

BUCKEYES LEAD THE WAY!

CDT Hannah Gill is a Zoology, Environmental Science double major from Waynesville, OH. She served last semester as the Bravo Company Commander and currently serves as the Recruiting Operations Officer.

She has spent 4 years in ROTC, with 3.5 being in Bravo Company. Her favorite ROTC memory is exploring East Africa while taking part in the Army’s Project Global Officer.
�CDT Gill joined ROTC “to have an opportunity to serve others and because I have a lot of respect for Army officers.”

She will branch Aviation into the Army Reserve.

CDT Sal Buonamici is a Mechanical Engineering Major from Youngstown, OH. He currently serves as an Assistant S3 Operations Officer and served last semester as a Charlie Company OCT.

He has spent 4 years in ROTC, all 4 in Charlie Company. His favorite ROTC memory is the Spring ’24 JFTX.

He joined ROTC “To join an organization bigger than myself, serve the United States, and learn about becoming a leader.”

He plans to branch into the National Guard as a Signal or Cyber Officer.
