This afternoon I'm headed back to the senior center to revisit these Queens and King! A slightly different vibe this time as we celebrate a grand reopening of the living facility, but I'm sure the staff will be giving their residents the royal treatment.

Would you believe that there were HUNDREDS of people around while we shot these?! The nice thing about photography - especially these more relaxed, connected photoshoots - is that once we start talking and moving, everything else melts away into background noise.

Gina showed up for her second water session, so excited and rocking this gorgeous green dress! I always start these out at the shoreline, taking a couple photos while we chat, and I encourage people to bring a cool set of sunglasses and hat if they have them. I'd say she nailed it, I am in love with this look!

Wishing a great Father's Day weekend for the dads who show up when it matters, who support without question, and love without doubt!

And for those who have a more complicated relationship with Father's Day, I hope this weekend brings you light and kindness.

As the big corporations are swapping their logos out for rainbow-colored versions of their logos, I want to remind you that love and individuality is embraced here every day of the year. I don't need to announce that with a rainbow logo - and not just because I don't know how to do it 😂

Going to post this with some pictures of me looking way cooler in frame than in person, because sharing photos of my LGBTQ+ clients and friends *just* to make a point feels performative. I share them all year round and will continue to do so - but also if you want to get in on some Pride-themed photos this year let's do it!!
