Pfc. Drew Brown, right, an native and low altitude air defense gunner with 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion (LAAD), Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), provided security near the U.S. Navy’s Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center.

Cpl. Nathan Arnold, an native and a rifleman with Animal Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, performed rifle drills with an M4 carbine aboard the USS America. Marines participated in the training to sustain marksmanship fundamentals and increase technical and tactical proficiency.

Aerial Resupply

U.S. Marines with Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, hiked as a battalion through o-chlorobenzlidene malonoitrile gas during a hike. Marines tested their physical readiness and improved their combat conditioning, staying always ready.
