I went from training 4-5 days a week to walking; occasionally.

Going from working a 9-5 coaching job to starting my own wellness business definitely have its challenges. But the biggest challenge was taking a 6 week hiatus from working out .

I had dedicated so much time and effort over the years training others and myself that when I decided to do my own thing, I had to stop working on myself physically. It definitely wasn’t by design but my energy was needed to get the business going.

It was crazy to me that I could start to feel the little aches and pains from not being as active as I’m accustomed to. So after a couple of weeks without doing much, I started with occasional walks and push-ups throughout the day. This really helped me start gaining momentum.

Now, I’m getting back into my routine and it feels good. Sometimes it’s the simple things that can make the biggest impact.

Remember, it’s okay to reset and start again. You can’t be afraid to start with the occasional walks.

When was the last time you had to reset and start from the beginning?

It can be frustrating when the scale doesn’t move in the direction you want it to, but if you are following the plan then some minor adjustments could be all you need. Stay strong 💪
