Just a reminder that all artificial decorations, live wreaths, grave blankets, mementos, any sentimental items that you have on your loved one's grave need to be removed by March 1, 2026. We will begin our spring cleanup on Monday March9, 2026. I strongly encourage you to come out this weekend and get your stuff. We cannot be held responsible for any missed items after March 9, 2026 when we begin our pickup.

Items other than artificial flowers and live wreaths or grave blankets will be pulled and placed in a separate area so if you did not have them removed you will be able to come check our location for your items.

All items will remain in storage area for a period of 4 weeks after that they will be discarded.

Mausoleum items being removed will consist of Christmas flowers or any decor reflecting Christmas or any past holidays. We ask that you limit to one flower or item per person/crypt/niche to allow other family members opportunity to place items on tables.

I apologize in advance for any inconvenience that may occur. But we have to abide by the rules and regulations of the cemetery.

We have signs at the gate indicated the times allowed for decorations.

We are plowing the cemetery roads but we urge everyone to not come visit today it is level 2 now and could turn to level 3 soon. I encourage people to STAY HOME!
We have very limited access to the chapels and all the sections are covered with snow when we plow the snow will pile up along the curbs making it very difficult to get into sections to visit. I know your loved ones are important to you and you like to come visit them. But if weather conditions continue throughout the day I will be forced to close down the cemetery if need be.

We at Union Cemetery are saddened with the loss of another outstanding devoted employee in Mary Elizabeth Hill.
She was one of our part time Administrative Assistants.
She will be greatly missed.
