It’s important that we acknowledge and research concussions, especially in youth! Check out the CDC’s infographic for different rates by sport. You’ll see that Boys’ tackle football is ranked #1 and that tackling is responsible for 63% of concussions in high school football. More than half! Girls soccer comes in at #2!

The STATBI team is excited to talk about mild traumatic brain injuries and concussions as today is National Concussion Awareness Day! Everyday is a good day to raise awareness about all things brain injury, but today we want to highlight some important facts surrounding concussions!
