This is truly a season of celebration, and I want to express my gratitude in stages.

Today, I want to thank the leadership of St. Paul AME Church Columbus, Ohio🇺🇸 our Stewards and Trustees and the entire church family for every card, gift, kind word, and expression of love. Thank you for showering me with such overwhelming kindness and making this birthday celebration so special.

I am grateful for each of you and blessed to serve such a loving and supportive congregation. Thank you for your love, generosity, and prayers. Thank you Rev. Dwight Smith for the word and for reminding me that that God is still in the blessing business and that Joy Comes in the Morning. Love ❤️💕Dr.M

On Saturday, June 6, the USA travelers who journeyed to South Africa in 2024, 2025, and 2026 gathered for a wonderful reunion, which also doubled as my 40’ish birthday celebration. It was an all-white affair (and yes, I wanted everyone to wear white because I already had my outfit picked out! 😊😉).

We shared great memories, lots of laughter, great food and wonderful fellowship. Thank you to everyone for your love, cards, gifts, kind words, and for making the evening so special. I am truly grateful for each of you and for the friendships and connections we have built through our South African adventures together. Special thanks to my sisters Lucinda Covington and Cathy Adams who came and spend the weekend with me your presence meant more than words can express. Love you all ❤️Dr. M
