Too many agents & advisors focus on what they make over what’s best for the client. I get why people are hesitant, there’s been a lot of overpromising and underdelivering.

Recently, I met with a couple in their late 50s who wanted an Indexed Universal Life (IUL) policy. Another agent had shown them flashy returns, but after digging deeper, it was clear an IUL wasn’t the best fit. A living benefit term policy plus an annuity made more sense: lower costs, better growth, and real protection.

This is why it’s so important to work with a professional and not an amateur.
