My 2022 temperature blanket is finally off the needles! This project was a comfort to come back to on a daily basis, a ritual for my day, and I’m so glad I stuck to it and finished it—at least the knitting part. Now I have to weave in the ends and decide if I’m going to use the leftover yarn to add fringe.

I recorded the high temperature of each day and knitted it based on a pre-chosen color. Bright pink is 90+ degrees, ice blue is for anything colder than 20. The white lines separate the months. I’m not making one of these for 2023, but I think I want to try a crochet version is 2024.

So happy to finally be able to reveal this special gift I knit for my cousins and baby Adalade! I cannot wait to meet this baby!!!
