Millie Bobby Brown-

Another trailer park rescue.

A friendly, young, unspayed cat trying to survive. Showing up at the feeding station every day, very hungry.

We trapped her and during her spay it was discovered she was pregnant. Another pregnant cat. We did a spay-abort. We had to and we will continue to do so, every single time. Because this madness must end.

This petite girl is about 1.5 years old and very friendly. She acclimated to the office without any effort. She gets along with all the cats and is just a happy go lucky baby. She looks at you lovingly and will make a great addition to any family.

From the Municipal Court docket, ANIMAL ABUSER, Davon Deshawn Jones, pled guilty to original charges of :

*Prohibitions Concerning Companion Animals - Torture, a first degree misdemeanor (prohibits acts of cruelty, torture, and serious physical harm against companion animals); and

*Prohibitions Concerning Companion Animals, a second degree misdemeanor (deprivation of sustenance and shelter for companion animals)

He was ordered to pay fines and fees of $1,253.12 by 9/9/26.

He was sentenced to 180 days in Franklin County Jail with 177 days suspended pending successful completion of probation term of 5 years. He will serve 3 days in jail beginning July 10, 2026.

We are not certain of the conditions of probation and the docket does not list them, but they are very likely the "anger management classes" he’s been ordered to attend and the stipulation that he cannot own another pet for a period of 5 years.

That is the only information we have.

Three days for beating a pitbull for the 2 years he was in his possession and also neglecting him by having him living in a cage in the garage. SHAMEFUL!!

The heart wants what the heart wants!

For Burrnard and Biscotti, it was each other. And after 15 months together in foster care, they have found their happily ever after in their forever home, TOGETHER!

Burnarrd was living at a homeless encampment, living in pain. Biscotti was rescued as an 8 week old kitten all alone a couple of months later. They did not know each other but they both ended at the same foster home. When Burrnard met Biscotti, he became a totally different cat. He came out of his shell, he had a reason for living. He took Biscotti under his wing and they were inseparable. The foster mom was not about to separate them to get them adopted, she couldn't do that to this bonded pair. And boy, did we have inquiries for one or the other.

Then their people came along. This lovely couple met 3 of our bonded pairs and decided to adopt Burrnard and Biscotti. Their foster mom was thrilled and sad at the same time. But once we did the homevisit, she knew they were going to the best home. We are happy to report that they are doing great and have the best life they deserve - TOGETHER!

This happy ending happened because….
….Their foster mom loved them so much that she wanted to foster them until their people found them, no matter how long it took. THANK YOU BRANDY!!
….Another volunteer rescued Burrnard from a homeless encampment at the request of his owners because Burrnard was injured, so thin, and had horrendous dental disease. Thank you Linda!....Because a good sam reached out for help for Biscotti when she was found as a baby in someone's yard
….Supporters donated for Burrnard's dental surgery

It takes a cat community and we are so very grateful for everyone that played a part!

We love you Burrnard and Biscotti!
