Introducing My 2025 Book Blanket 📚✨

For each book I read in 2025, I crocheted a granny square inspired by the cover. And that’s how my book blanket came to life! It’s like a bookshelf… but soft, warm, and very snuggle-friendly.

This year, I read 70 books and a total of 27,092 pages. Some of those pages were turned at home on the couch, but many others were read while traveling on planes, trains, and everything in-between. Apparently, I really can’t get enough travel, whether it’s across the world or through the pages of a book 🌍🧳

World travel wasn’t enough, so I added a little time travel too by reading the Bible using reading plan! Many of the squares are inspired by my "God Shot" ⏳✝️

And no, there will not be another blanket for 2026. I read wayyyyy more books than I expected. Even with combining some of the books of the Bible, I ended up with 110 squares. I’ll be happily snuggling up with this blanket and a cozy book instead.

I read a majority of the New Testament in December, but the squares were so tough because they didn't have covers! I really had to pay attention to what I was reading and make some meaning out of it. How did I do?!
