Field day Friday:
This week's field day is a rarely photographed morph in my opinion. Pictured here is a tinc, as seen in the wild, from French Guiana, right on the border of Suriname along the Rio Lawa. This morph was originally introduced to the USA hobby by Marcus Breece of Simply Natural Dart Frogs and further propagated by Sean Stewart, but we do not see too much of this morph. It has a few different names such as "Yellow Siplaiwini" or just "Lawa". Such a lucky find to see this morph in the wild!

Today's Field Day Friday is from a fairly well-known "Yellowback"-type locality in French Guiana. This one is from Maripasoula which is just across the Suriname-French Guiana border. This type was once imported by Simply Natural Dart Frogs but it apparently not too many seem to be around anymore. These are very nice dart frogs!
