We recently welcomed the Thompson Concrete team to our facility, where Rod Jenkins hosted a behind-the-scenes tour of our production, quality control, laboratory, and batch plant operations.

We began the tour in the Production & Quality Control office, where we discussed how technology has transformed our operations and about concrete mix design.

From there, we visited our concrete design laboratory to walk through the science behind mix development, material testing, and the level of engineering that goes into producing high-performance concrete. Then, we finished at the batch plant, showcasing central Ohio’s most advanced concrete production facility.

As a thank you, Thompson made a charitable donation to Star House, the nonprofit of Rod's choosing.

We're grateful for opportunities to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and support organizations making a difference in our community. Thank you to the Thompson Concrete team for the thoughtful gesture and for spending the day with us.

Anderson Concrete was represented at the 2nd Annual Mixer Driver Competition on April 25, where participants completed a full range of challenges including inspections, written testing, and a hands-on skills course.

Cameron Kennedy, Johnathan Thiele, and Joe Hicks stepped up and represented the team well. Proud of the work they do every day, both on the job and in competition.
