During my TEDx Talk on How to Disrupt the Nonprofit Industrial Complex I started by honoring The Mighty Fifteen. The 15 black women who raised me. Sadly we recently lost my Aunt Shelia. Her unwavering belief in me and her consistent unconditional love is a major reason for the person I've become. She was a woman that always seemed joyful. Even when going through pain. It's a example I lean on often, especially now. She will surely be missed. And her joyful spirit will be something that lives with me forever. Sending love and strength to her sons, Leslie and Byron.
