Women's Rights and Empowerment Network - WREN

We are honored to share that WREN is entering an exciting new chapter.
WREN has recently completed the acquisition of South Carolina Women in Leadership, an organization that has helped women across our state see themselves as public leaders, civic leaders, and decision-makers.
This is more than an organizational transition. It is an expansion of our vision.
For WREN, advocacy has always been about more than responding to what happens at the State House. It is about making sure women and girls have the tools, relationships, confidence, and pathways to shape the decisions that affect their lives.
By bringing our work together, we are deepening the connection between advocacy, civic engagement, and leadership.
Because if we want a South Carolina where women and girls can thrive, we need more women at every table where decisions are being made.
We're excited to embark on this new chapter alongside all of you. 💜

Dads deserve the time and support to care for the people they love.
This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating every father and father figure helping families and communities thrive and will continue to fight for policies that make caregiving possible for everyone.
Because a stronger South Carolina starts with families having what they need to thrive. 💜

This Juneteenth, we honor the Black South Carolinians whose leadership, advocacy, and care have helped move our state forward for generations.
At WREN, that truth is deeply connected to our work. We believe people should have the knowledge, tools, and power to shape the policies and decisions that affect their lives, families, and communities.
Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, honor the ongoing fight for freedom, and recognize the legacy of Black leadership that continues to shape South Carolina. 💚❤️💛

LGBTQIA+ workers continue to face discrimination that can affect hiring, wages, promotions, and long-term financial security. Those barriers can be even greater for transgender people, women, and LGBTQIA+ people of color.
While South Carolina-specific data remains limited, the research we do have makes one thing clear: workplace discrimination has real economic consequences.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to work, earn, and build a future with dignity and security. Equal pay is LGBTQIA+ justice. 🏳️🌈 ✊

Now, we’re getting ready to share what comes next.
We’ve been keeping something big under wraps, and on June 22, we’ll finally be able to tell you more.
