Our world is shattered with your passing! I take comfort in knowing that I filled the largest promise I have ever made in my life! You ask me to Please not put you in a care facility as you fought Dementia, I (we) kept that promise until your passing! Mom, you are free now! There is NO way I could have kept my promise without my INCREDIBLE wife Kat! You loved and cared for my mom like she was yours! Your strength and Grace shows what an Incredible Woman you are! Thank you baby for Loving my mother even during the tough times! The real Rock Star in this story is Ms Mamie McGill, moms live in nurse that is nothing short of amazing! You came into our lives 5 years ago, you treated us like family from Day 1, we fell in Love with you for your devotion to mom! I have never really met anyone like you and I will most likely never meet anyone again like you! You left your family in SC to move with us and to continue caring for mom, I am simply lost for words! We Love you and Thank you for your dedication and hard work! There is NO way we could have kept mom home without you! It gives me great peace to know that you held mom as she passed! Thanks to all the friends and loved ones for the calls and messages, we appreciate it. Our World is forever changed....... Today I lost my HERO. A REAL woman warrior of God! Not a fake one!!!!!! She battled cancer multiple times and never even told her friends! She battled dementia for close to 12 years and NEVER lost her pride or dignity! Today as she ate lunch, a tear ran down her cheek, Ms Mamie asked her if she was ok, Mom said Yea and Winked at her and slipped away! I am so Proud of my mom! I am so Blessed to have had a mother like her. The last words she said to me this afternoon.....I LOVE YOU!..... I will NEVER forget that!......Pray for her journey! Pray for Kat, Lil Tanner and Ms Mamie! Through it all Mom never wavered! Her since of humor was always there even at her lowest points! I'm going to share the funniest pic of mom...... this pic was taken three months ago, the day after her total hip replacement! The therapist came in to get her moving and said, Roy Mae its time to get up......Here is her response>>>! Everyone share a laugh with us at this difficult time!

This summer has been quite the challenge for mom but she is awfully determined! Last week we celebrated her 90th birthday! Dementia can take her memory but she has the most incredible heart and soul! One of Gods True Warriors! Our time together is short but we are so blessed to have you home with us!

Two different angles of a beautiful CAIRO Walnut Conference room table that we delivered today in SC. After taking the order, we realized that the building had NO service elevator and the table was wider than the stair case!
