Technetics was thrilled to take part in PATRAM 2025 in San Antonio, Texas.

The PATRAM 2025 symposium (Packaging and Transportation of Radioactive Materials) took place from July 27 to August 1 in San Antonio, TX. It is the leading international event dedicated to the safe transport of radioactive materials.

Adrien Bommenel (Energy Market), Sully Marigliano Crevecoeur (Nuclear Market) and Florent Ledrappier (Maestral R&D laboratory), proudly represented Technetics’ expertise at the event.

Florent Ledrappier presented our work: “Characterization of the Aging Behavior of HELICOFLEX TEXEAL”: a demonstration of our commitment to ensuring long-term sealing performance using state of the art femto-lasers for manufacturing.

The key message: new nuclear cannot succeed without addressing the challenges of fuel transport and packaging. If you are building a nuclear reactor, consider the whole value chain before thinking about licensing.
