I don't know if anyone is really still actively viewing this page, but I wanted to say thank you for all the great times we had together in the past. I haven't seen many of you for several years but you will always be locked in my memory as our having had some great times serving the community together. Like many of you, I still remeber and miss Kentrell very much. I'm going to unplug from the page now. If any of you would like to stay connected with me you can find me on the Grade A Plus Program page or under my own name page. God bless you and I wish you all love and happiness for years and years to come. -Dr. (Rev.) Janice Dawson-Threat.

Good Morning friends and family! I just wanted to thank Old Hawthorne of Columbia, Hy-Vee, and Aldi’s and Eng and Woods Law for their help this year! We got to serve 48 family’s a Thanksgiving meal! I would like to Thank Powerhouse’s Paster Charles Stephenson an crew for doing the big dinner on Thanksgiving on the 25th at the Columbia senior center. The dinner will be from 11am-2pm. They are still needing volunteers to help serve the hot meal. I hope everyone has a wonderful family filled holiday! ❤️

On behalf of Almeta Crayton’s Community Programs, the Board of Directors would like to thank everyone in the community for their outpouring of love and support after the passing of our founder and CEO, Kentrell Minton. Our Columbia family really has pulled together over the last month to help us make Everybody Eats a success for this year despite our personal tragedies and societal challenges, and for that we are grateful.

As we move forward, the Board of ACCP remains dedicated to our mission of Community Helping Community, however at this time we will be suspending our programs for the remainder of 2020 as we assess and review the future of the organization’s affairs.

Currently we are considering the possibility of moving forward in January 2021 with our annual Poor Man’s Breakfast, however that decision has not yet been made and unfortunately we will not be participating in community activities for the Holiday 2020 season at this time. We know that while this means the need is still present, we ask in the spirit of Kentrell and Ms. Almeta that the community pulls together now more than ever to help one another as present times call for unity and support for each other.

We hope to greet you all fresh in the new year.

Anthony Crayton, President

Nick Raines, Vice President

Amber Minton, CEO
