It seems that returning the M-badge to pure performance models may never happen again... Signs are pointing to the M-badge replacing the "is"-badge. So we would see new M's at the Z4, 1, 2, 3, and 4 series.

These are meant to slot between standard models and true M-badged performers. So there will be a 335i, M335i and then M3. Absurd.

It is sad news that Mazda has decided to cease production in America at the jointly-owned AutoAlliance International plant in Michigan. The next Mazda6 will be built in Japan.

Although Ford Motor Company will take over practical control, the two companies will maintain 50-50 stake for now.

Porsche has revealed the new Carrera 4 and 4S models for the 991 platform. Improvements abound for the traction management system; not to mention more power, less weight, better gas mileage and those sexy new curves... What are you waiting for?
