1. What is your name, role, and how long have you been with the company?

My name is George Wright and my role here at ASAP is the Warehouse Coordinator. I've been here for a little over 3 wonderful years.

2. What are your daily responsibilities at ASAP?

I am over the shipping and receiving side of ASAP. I inbound and outbound computer parts and fire extinguishers for a wide range of suppliers in and around South Carolina. I communicate daily with technicians, couriers that come in and out to pickup / drop off as well as fire extinguishers technicians who need refills and drop offs for service. I process multiple orders per day, keep inventory of what's on hand, and follow time schedules on who needs what and at what time.

3. What is your favorite part about working at ASAP?

My favorite part would have to be the people I get to work with on a daily basis like drivers, couriers, and technicians. I also enjoy my fellow office co-workers and even though I don't see them a lot (I will hem them up in the Kitchen from time to time and talk their ears off), most of them are family and it's also cool to be able to talk to the CEO of the company on a daily basis. A lot of companies don't get the luxury of having a strong relationship with the "big guy" and it's awesome. I've grown to love what I do and I'm good at it.

4. What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

Firstly, I'd say hanging out with my family. When you work long hours, you're tired and when I get home we try to hang out and do things on the weekend, like go to the park, etc. COVID kind of slowed down some of that, but we still do it. I also enjoy Karaoke and singing gospel music - I used to sing in a group with my wife and three of our best friends.

I like to fish and play "the impossible guitar" as I like to call it! I enjoy a lot of other things but we'd be here all day!
