Your Promuffler Jr 2 racing action yesterday was a race you didn't want to miss. Olivia Vanloo was your heat race winner. Vanloo was your Sneller Automotive Jr1 track champion last year, and the Jr Queen of HPIS, Vanloo had made the early jump to race Jr2 before the winter season starts for seat time.
When Brooke Hassler waved the green for the 15 lap feature event, Vanloo jumped out front and was letting Lucas Yelton, and Ali Sneller battle it out for the 2nd place. In the closing laps Sneller got by and Yelton and was trying to run down race leader Vanloo.
With the white flag waving Vanloo looks to be headed for her 1st Pro Muffler Jr2 win. Vanloo's exit off turn 2 was a littler wider, and that gave Sneller a shot to get up beside Vanloo. Sneller is hopping in the seat looking like the Ice Man Cole Graves to get some extra speed, both racers not wanting to give an inch heading into turn 3, as the fans stand up to see who's going to get to the checkered flag 1st. As Vanloo, and Sneller are door handle to door handle, coming out of turn 4, Sneller beats Vanloo to the line by inches to pick up the 🏆. Yelton had the best seat in the house to watch these 2 lady's battle for the 🏆 by finishing in the 3rd position.
So racefans don't make plans for next Saturday and come watch this Jr2 class.
