I still think about a high school game in Lynnville TN where I scored the winning touchdown and the crowd got so riled up they tried to tip our bus over. My uncles shoved me into the car…still in uniform…and we had to take off fast before things got rough.

Looking back, that wild night taught me grit long before I knew I’d need it. Funny how life works like that.

And standing here now seeing those original goal posts still standing after all these years…it reminds me just how far life can take you, and how some things stay exactly where you left them.
