Show Me Referrals Mid Missouri

We kicked off another great Tuesday morning with Show Me Referrals!

Today we had the honor of swearing in our newest member, Janice Woods with OnMedia, who also gave her launching speech as she officially takes on the Digital Content seat in our chapter. We are so excited to have her energy, expertise, and perspective in the room!

We also heard from Stephen Garlock with Air & Solutions, who shared his core value on Building Relationships. Stephen gave great examples of why relationships matter not only in BNI, but also in the everyday work he does with his clients, referral partners, and community!

Last but not least, Kaiser Martin with Doug Perry Towing absolutely crushed his first featured speaker presentation! Kaiser shared the “why” behind Doug Perry Towing and highlighted the heart behind a company that has proudly served Mid-Missouri for decades. From towing to roadside assistance, jump-starts, lockouts, tire changes, fuel delivery, motorcycle towing, and accident recovery, Doug Perry Towing is a trusted resource for Columbia and the surrounding area! We are so lucky to have you all represented in our group!

What a great meeting today at Show Me Referrals!

Every Tuesday, we come together to connect, support one another, and grow our businesses — and somehow we’re already wrapping up the month of June. We can’t believe how quickly this month has flown by!

Today, we had the opportunity to hear from Laurie DiPietro with Top Quality Motors, who shared about her core value of recognition and why it means so much to her. Recognition is such a powerful reminder that people want to feel seen, valued, and appreciated. Whether it’s acknowledging someone’s hard work, showing up consistently, or simply making others feel visible!

Our featured speaker today was Laura Royse with Flat Branch Home Loans, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park! Laura gave a fun and engaging presentation about helping buyers escape the myths and misinformation that can keep them from becoming homeowners. From credit score concerns to down payments, debt-to-income ratios, and timing, Laura reminded us how important it is to start the conversation early and get the right guidance.

Laura has been part of our group for over 10 years, and she continues to step up wherever she can. She represents our chapter so well, and we are lucky to have her leadership, energy, and expertise in the room.
