Howard County has done it again!

This year we earned a record 113 National Association of Counties Achievement Awards. That's the most of any county in Maryland and the highest annual NACo total for any county in Maryland history. Even more, our Department of Technology and Communication Services received a Best in Category award in Information Technology for our new and improved HoCo DASH 2.0 app.
These awards recognize the innovative programs that help Howard County residents every day. This year’s winning programs span 16 national award categories and represent the work of more than 25 County departments and offices, from health, human services, transportation and parks... to economic development, workforce development, IT, emergency management and more.

Since I have had the honor of becoming your County Executive, Howard County has earned 281 NACo awards! Our team has done a fabulous job, and I couldn't be more honored to be a part of that achievement.
