💙 Meet Dylan.

After making the difficult decision to leave Kansas City following a divorce, Dylan set out to create a safer future for himself and his son, Wyatt.

Although he was working hard, saving for a security deposit, and enrolling Wyatt in school, they were living in their vehicle—part of a growing population known as the "technically homeless."

Dylan wasn't looking for a handout. He was looking for the opportunity to build a stable home for his family.

With the support of Welcome Home, Dylan was able to move from living in a car to pursuing the dream of homeownership. His journey is a powerful reminder that, with the right support, hope can become a new beginning.

Every veteran has a story, and every story deserves the chance to be rewritten. Thank you to everyone who helps make transformations like Dylan's possible.

Today we honor 251 years of service, sacrifice, and dedication from the men and women who have served in the U.S. Army.

At Welcome Home, we are grateful for the courage and commitment of Army veterans in our community and proud to support them as they build stability and brighter futures after service.

Thank you to all who have worn the uniform and answered the call to serve.

⛳ Great news! The 3rd Annual Stars & Stripes Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Welcome Home has officially been rescheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding following the weather-related postponement. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our golfers, sponsors, and community partners who make this event possible.

If your team was already registered, you're all set—no further action is needed. We look forward to gathering this fall for a great day on the course while raising support for veterans experiencing homelessness.
