CORE WORK FOR NEW MOMS IS NOT HARMFUL, AVOIDING CORE WORK IS!

At Rooted we help a lot of moms recover from having a baby. Whether it’s about return to strength training, yoga, or running, many of them express concern about utilizing their core and if it will make diastasis worse.

The truth is DIASTASIS (or the naturally occurring stretching of the abdominals during pregnancy) requires PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD of the abdominals to heal.
