Tutor Spotlight: Jane Winkler

Jane Winkler is a freshman student at the University of Missouri - Columbia studying Accounting. Jane's ultimate career goal is to be an accountant at a small company that does something neat. Jane's favorite quite is: "No man is a failure who has friends" - It's a Wonderful Life.

"The best part of being a tutor has to be seeing students proud of what they can do. I love to see them empowered by knowledge. Whenever I can make them laugh is also so much fun." -Jane Winkler

Tutor Spotlight: Ellen Tran

Ellen is a junior at the University of Missouri studying biology and psychology. In the future, she wants to become a doctor/neonatologist. Her favorite quote is "If you want to give light to others, you have to glow yourself" by Thomas S. Monson.

"I enjoy working for AWWWN because I get to make an impact on the kids' lives and show them how learning can be fun. In addition, I get to create genuine connections with them, and it's rewarding to see them improve after each tutoring session." -Ellen Tran
