This petition was written by a student who suffers from medically documented physical and mental health issues. The student also has documentation on their disabilities which are recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please read the petition and sign it, to help this Unschooled student change an outdated policy which is probably illegal based on the ADA. The student’s family is seeking legal help in this matter. Signing the petition is empowering the student’s personal and academic actions, and may help change the policy more quickly and affordably for the family.

This rainbow just appeared in my yard!

It’s early evening and we let the boys have an after dinner dip in their pool with warm water. The weather was perfect. We had just them gotten dried off an into their pajamas when a sudden heavy thunder shower passed through, and then the rainbow!

Unschooling is like this, things are going along in a simple laidback manner and suddenly an idea occurs and there can be a highly energetic storm of activity, and then, occasionally right away, there is a magical moment of ah ha! Sometimes the ah ha comes after days or weeks.
