We are witnessing an increasingly aggressive attempt by the so-called MoCann Trade power structure to consolidate control over Missouri’s cannabis market—an industry that Missourians themselves worked hard to build. It is becoming clear that a coordinated boycott of state-licensed dispensaries, cultivators, and manufacturing facilities aligned with this monopoly may be the only way to push back.
Patients, workers, physicians, and local entrepreneurs all deserve a fair and equitable industry—yet this monopoly continues to expand its influence while publicly portraying independent operators as “bad actors.” At the same time, they appear intent on tightening their grip on the micro-business sector as well, creating barriers for the very Missouri families the program was meant to uplift.
Many in our community feel that these corporate groups, often led by individuals with no meaningful connection to Missouri or understanding of cannabis, prioritize profit over people—paying minimal wages, sidelining knowledgeable local talent, and now even pursuing legal action against family-run Missouri businesses.
Enough is enough. It’s time for Missourians to stand up, speak out, and oppose the monopolization of an industry that was meant to serve the public—not control it.
